Kodai has been a popular hill destination for decades because of its lovely flora, fauna, weather, etc. Though the over-exploitation has taken a toll, the town's heart is sometimes a bit crowded and noisy. Our property is tucked about 4 km away in a nice nook, far from the madding crowd, pun intended. This gives you the liberty of enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee/ cocoa & watch the mist unfolding from the balcony...say hello to a low-flying cloud, if any, but more importantly, breathe some fresh air. If you are looking to connect with your special someone over a quiet meal with a glass of wine, beer, or something stronger, in a serene environment this would be a nice place. We offer you a hot breakfast per our fixed menu, complimentary with the room. We have an in-house cook trained by an award-winning Chef, the hostess Girija, herself. We have a fixed menu for Lunch and Dinner if so required by guests. Special requests can also be entertained if received well in advance. Please note that L/D is chargeable. Kodai being a hilly locale has constraints when it comes to growing its produce. Hence almost everything has to be transported from nearby towns. Historically, Tamil Nadu has been backward when it came to concepts like rainwater harvesting, etc. causing a strain on the levels of underground water levels and water tables. The present Govt. is taking some steps towards improving this; hopefully, things will be better in the coming years. So we would earnestly request you to help curtail unnecessary water usage. Most of the times, either me or my husband Raja stay in the villa to facilitate things for the guests. We have a full time caretaker 24/7 in the villa and is available for the guests Other things to note We have limited mobile telephony connectivity. BSNL and Jio seem to work better in Kodaikanal. WIFI is quite weak here due to limited mobile connectivity and no fixed line internet operators
