Upstairs apartment is a large, 2-bedroom house, with spacious living room, tv room, private bathroom and full kitchen. The apartment has its own entrance and private back deck. Right on the beach, a large, light and airy living space (160sqm upstairs house). Backed by native bush with expansive views of the beach and sea/sunrises to the front. Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter. The space Unfortunately, no children over 2 years from date of arrival, and infants are included in maximum occupancy. There are two main bedrooms, with a full Kitchen, TV room, dining and lounge area, with large leather recliners to take in the view. The kitchen is a full size one, with microwave, gas hob, dishwasher, wall oven, fridge/freezer. The main area has a air-conditioning unit. There is also a log fire. Unlimited fast Wi-Fi. Guest will have the whole space to enjoy, with parking for 1 car on the section. Matakatia is a lovely quiet bay, with swimming only at high tide. There are no strong currents or rips, but it does go out at low tide, with a variety of sea bird life, including Herons, pied stilts, king fishers, and oyster catchers or just explore the low tide areas. You can watch the boats come in and out of Gulf Harbour, and the Wednesday night yacht race. 5 minute walk to Tindall's Bay Guest access This is an upstairs house/apartment that is fully self-contained with no shared areas. There is a front deck with views, and an large, private bush deck at the back all to yourself. Parking is a single park on the section, but being such a quiet road, there is always some parking on the street frontage. Other things to note There are no children over 2 years, sorry, as we feel there are too many hazards around our property to keep them safe. Infants are included in the maximum occupancy
