At an altitude of 600 meters, in the Castle of Fossato di Vico, the house enjoys a beautiful view of the valley below with exposure to the sunset. A place of medieval charm, it is a base for excursions throughout Umbria. At 7 km there is a beautiful outdoor public swimming pool with a garden and a larger indoor one. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds, a living room with a sofa bed that can accommodate another 2 people (for a total of 6+1), the entrance with a kitchenette and finally the bathroom for a total of 85 square meters (the total square footage including the thick walls is 129 square meters!). It is typically furnished with antique furniture that blends perfectly with the environment ennobled by centuries-old stone walls. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge and moka pot, as well as tablecloths and supplies, there is a TV, the heating is independent, convenient parking. In the small village of Fossato di Vico, near Gubbio and within the Monte Cucco Natural Park, you can breathe an ancient atmosphere, everything is minute and well cared for and the alleys are scattered with so-called "minor" works of art and architecture, such as the Civic Tower, the Prisons, the former Monastery, the same Rughe where the apartment is located. Fossato di Vico is a small charming refuge from which to stand out for excursions to the most beautiful locations in Umbria and Marche. Within a radius of 30-60 minutes there are important cities of art such as Gualdo Tadino (7 km), Fabriano (12 km), Gubbio (16 km), Grotte di Frasassi and Assisi 40 km away.
