Vidyun's hill home in Dhamas, overlooks the snow clad Himalayan peaks of Trishul and Nanda Devi, with pine forest walks, bird watching and occasional sightings of leopard, pine martins, jackals in the forest behind the house. The house has 2 (two) "ensuite" bedrooms with private bathrooms. We do not give out the two bedrooms separately. Each bedroom is equipped to accommodate up to 3 guests. Even if a single guest books the entire cottage is kept free so u have EXCLUSIVE use. The space THE UP is a fully furnished 2 bedroom ensuite hill cottage set in the middle of a sparsely populated area 2 km east of village Dhamas on the ShitlaKhet road. Located on a crest overlooking the valley it offers a 180 degree view of the Trishul, Nanda Devi range of the snow capped Himalayas. Live in the lap of nature with all creature comforts - heating in the winter, electricity, gas cooking, fridge, microwave etc. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire 2 acre hillside on which the cottage is situated. They will have a 24 hour guard ; an equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals. We encourage guests to cook. But you also have the option of asking the caretaker to buy local ingredients and cook for you. He is no chef but does basic Indian meals nicely. Please do compensate him for his effort. Other things to note Access to Dhamas from New Delhi is either by road via Muradabad - Rampur- HALDWANI - Bhowali- Kosi Travel time 10 to 11 hours depending on time of departure from Delhi. Taxi can be arranged. One way estimated cost for an Innova is Rs 11000/-. By rail catch either the Kathgodam Express departure Delhi 10. 45 PM arrival 5.30 AM (next day) or the Shatabadi Express departure New Delhi 5 AM arrival Kathgodam 11 AM. Return departure from Kathgodam 7.30 PM and 3.30 PM respectively. Please check for updates. Taxi from Kathgodam to Dhamas 3.5 hours estimate Rs 2500 one way. En-route by road from Delhi, have coffee at Cafe Coffee Day, Gajraulla; admire the view at Lake Bhimtal; lunch at Pine Crest Hotel Bhowali; don't miss the Moong Pakoras at Kainchi Dham (20 minutes beyond Bhowali).
