Hosting through Airbnb I’ve had the chance to meet guests from VA, PA, MD, DC, MI, and WV. Everyone has been so kind! This rental helps me afford many repairs and updates (the next one is new carpet) and is helping me support my teens through college. The space This condo is located on the Ski Harbor peninsula. The neighborhood has great amenities that you are welcome to use. Winter wonderland is one of my favorite seasons at the lake! The slopes at Wisp Resort are only 5 minutes away. Go tubing in the morning, come to the condo for lunch and go right back up for a full afternoon/evening of skiing or snowboarding! When the lake freezes over, ice-sailing or ice-fishing are an option too. In the spring and summer time, you’ll be able to enjoy our lake access, small beach, docks, swimming platforms at the end of the docks, community fire pits and grills. You can also practice tennis, volleyball, and basketball while enjoying the sunshine. The lake is across the street from the condo within 75 feet. I offer kayaks for your use during your stay (sit-in for teens and adults). In the fall, the foliage colors are outstanding. Come for the Autumn Glory Week or the Wine Festival. The indoor community swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are open year-round from 10 am to 10 pm it only closes on Christmas Day and for New Year's Eve it has a reduced schedule. The swimming pool building is 25 ft from the condo. You'll be provided a "regular" key for its building and a "proximity key" (white card) to access the second door to the indoor pool/jacuzzi and sauna. The sleeping arrangements fit six-people comfortably. There is a queen bed, a twin-bunk bed, one full sleeping sofa and one twin sleeping sofa in this two-bedroom condo. Per Ski Harbor bylaws, tenants cannot bring pets for visits or overnight stays. Assistance animals are always welcome, please let me know if you are bringing your assistance animal so I can notify the BOD. Penalty fees apply when house rules are disregarded. The neighborhood is conveniently located in the heart of McHenry, within walking distance or a short drive to Wisp, Smiley's Fun Zone, grocery stores, and restaurants. This is the perfect place for a family to enjoy a vacation at the lake. Quiet and easy-going neighborhood, many outdoor activities, area attractions, and a cozy retreat to recharge for the next day!
