Dark Skies Shepherds Huts - Skylark

Set in the tranquil foothills of the South Downs, Skylark shepherds hut offers you a luxury off grid escape. Located on a beautiful organic arable farm surrounded by nature with stunning views makes for a peaceful, relaxing break. Skylark is ideal for visiting one of the many attractions near by (including Charleston House, Rathfinny Wine Estate, Firle Place and the medieval village of Alfriston), a stopover on the South Downs Way, a weekend of walking or just some time out to relax. The space Skylark is located in a secure, beautiful grass field with glorious views of the South Downs and outdoor space for sitting around the fire pit. Other things to note Please note that Skylark Shepherds Hut is off grid. It has solar powered electric shower, fridge and lights with battery back up. For cooking there is a gas hob and an outdoor fire pit to BBQ on. The electricity capacity means that hair dryers cannot be used in the Hut. We will provide you with either a continental or full English breakfast for each morning of your stay. Ingredients will be sourced locally where possible. We are also happy to order you some food shopping. You provide the list and we shall deliver it all to the hut ready for your arrival.
