Conmurra is 67 ha (167 acres). Walk or bike along 4km of tracks & trails or take a guided sunset wildlife walk ($50 value) to see endangered animals in our wildlife sanctuary. Our clean, modern cabin is situated in gorgeous bushland, near the Conmurra Homestead & just 15 mins from Bathurst. The space Mountain View cabin is located at Conmurra, a 67 hectare (167 acre) property dedicated to protecting Australian wildlife and their habitat. Perched on a mountain top, not far (30m) from the main homestead, views extend across valleys, open fields, bushland and mountains. The cabin sleeps up to 3 in an open plan studio space. Kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, possums, kookaburras and sugar gliders are all frequently seen on the property. Included in the price is the chance to go on a night wildlife walk. You will get up close meet our resident native Australian Dingoes - Kimba and Kela (unavailable during the breeding season) and see the little endangered animals in our wildlife sanctuary! You can also take a self guided walk along 4km of tracks and trails at any time. The cabin is fully self contained with double bed, single bed, kitchen, lounge room and separate bathroom. Facilties include WiFi, fridge, electric heater and wood fire (wood supplied), TV, microwave, stove, oven and washing machine. Guest access Conmurra is just 15 minutes from Bathurst (20 mins from Mount Panorama), 30 minutes from Lithgow and an easy drive to the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves. You can park right outside the cabin door. We now offer self check-in to limit contact, though we will still check make sure you are comfortable and have all the you need after arriving. Other things to note Conmurra is a wildlife sanctuary and guests can take a guided wildlife walk ($100 value) to see our endangered animals in their protected woodland enclosures This walk sets off at sunset and takes about 90 mins. Due to the timing of the walk and as our animals are free ranging within the enclosure, it is generally not suited to smaller children (6 years and under).
