Feathertails Guesthouse - Strathbogie Ranges

Feathertails is a beautifully private guesthouse in Strathbogie in the heart of the Strathbogie Ranges. It is situated in a picturesque garden of our home & surrounded by well documented bush walks. The closest is just 200 metres down the hill, where the Sevens Creek offers stunning flora and fauna including, koala, platypus and many nocturnal animals. Feathertail gliders can be found in the beautiful Strathbogie Forest and there's a stunning 18 hole golf course within walking distance. The space When you step (the only step on the property) into the guest-house you'll immediately experience the feeling of light and space. From every window you have the sense of being in a relaxing garden. We are eco friendly, from the lovely Dindi Naturals hair and body range to feeding the kitchen scraps to the chooks that supply your eggs for breakfast (when available). We have a kitchenette, and supply toaster, kettle, coffee plunger and electric frying pan. There is a microwave oven and a BabyQ Weber bbq with a pan to cook on/in it. Please note. We don’t have a stove or oven. Guest access Guests will have full access to Feathertails and are free to walk in the garden Other things to note We reside on the property and you may see us tending to the garden. We are available when needed but otherwise please enjoy your privacy. Please be aware that bread is subject to availability, we endeavour to supply fresh eggs when the chooks are laying. The Strathbogie Store has essentials like bread, coffee etc. Vodaphone and Optus have no reception, Telstra sometimes has reception but we have wifi which enables you to connect to the outside world during your getaway.
