In the heart of the Scottish Borders and nestled close to the market square in The Royal and Ancient Burgh of Selkirk, the apartment makes a great place to spend a few days or extended break while exploring this fabulous and intriguing part of Scotland. Selkirk itself has a fascinating history going back to William Wallace and more recently links with Sir Walter Scott. We stayed here in February and needed to put on the heating. Luckily the owners had left very clear instructions how everything worked and it didn't take long before the flat was lovely and warm. The kitchen and living room are both spacious rooms and the beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable - beautiful bed linen from MS and a supply of fluffy towels. In the kitchen there is also a washing machine. Just off the kitchen is a separate dining room. The living room has a TV, DVD player and a record-player with an assortment of LPs! If you're looking for a holiday in the Scottish Borders, Selkirk is a lovely Borders town and I can recommend this property.
