Studio 1 at Knott Cottage is a purpose built retreat for 1 or 2. Thoughtfully designed to provide quality accommodation at an affordable price. It offers vaulted ceilings, an open layout with under floor heating, a well equipped kitchen and a luxury shower room. Situated 100 metres from a sheltered bay with stunning views over Loch Snizort Beag, the Studio is an idyllic base to visit Skye's many attractions. Sea Eagles, seals, otters and porpoises can be seen from the picture window. The space The lounge area is furnished with two very comfortable swivel chairs placed in front of the large picture window giving an expansive view over Loch Snizort Beag to the Outer Hebrides on the horizon.The kitchen has a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, electric kettle. Good quality crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment and utensils are supplied. We provide a welcome pack of coffee, tea and biscuits. To ensure a good night's sleep at the end of the day, a King sized bed with superior mattress and quality bedding awaits guests. The shower room has a walk-in unit with large rainfall-type shower. Quality towels are provided. There is a private seating area in front of the studio looking towards the loch as well as use of the garden furniture in our mature flower garden. There is no extra charge for heating, bed linen and towels Guest access `The Studio is self contained and guests are encouraged to make use of our large flower filled garden, seating being provided in several places. Other things to note Knott, a crofting community of 7 houses, is situated midway between Skye's main centre Portree and Dunvegan. It is ideally placed to explore the many tourist attractions the Isle of Skye has to offer .Many of Skye's most notable visitor attractions are within a 30-minute drive. Skye is well known as a Walkers and Climbers paradise. Other activities including Fishing, Horse Riding and Trekking are within walking distance from Knott Cottage . Due to the lack of light pollution Skye's night skies are acclaimed making it an excellent place to view the mesmerising canopy above.
