The Nest, Luxury Barn With Hot Tub near the Sea

A lovely rural retreat overlooking farmland with easy access to Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge and many beaches along the coastal path. Quiet location affording privacy and peace. This well-designed barn conversion set in a stunning Victorian cobbled and lawned courtyard, is brimming with rustic comforts including a wood-burning fireplace and a claw-foot bathtub, underfloor heating, cosy reading nook and a private walled garden with hot tub under the stars. The space The barn is a lovely private space for a romantic break for two. It has it's own kitchen, bathroom with roll top bath, sitting room with wood burner, and kingsize bed with White Company bed linens and towels provided. There is a hot tub in the garden for guests to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped with a mini dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven, toaster, Nespresso machine, kettle etc. The Nest has it's own private walled garden with BBQ, firepit, electric hot tub (screened for privacy) which is accessible 24 hours a day. We leave guests entirely up to their own devices if they desire peace and relaxation. We are very happy and onsite to provide any suggestions for local eateries, day trips, beaches etc. should guests need us. Swallows' Flight Barn is adjacent to a farmhouse in 1,000 acres of glorious Devon farmland, set in a historic courtyard dating back to 1860. It's one mile to the sea and many beautiful beaches, and a 10-minute walk to the village with great dining. Ideally, a car is needed to get around in South Devon, but we are five minutes walk from a bus route to Kingsbridge or Dartmouth, and Slapton Sands (our nearest beach) is 40 minutes away on foot. There is also a sofa bed in the barn which sleeps up to two children and we can provide a cot and baby equipment (e.g. high chair, age suitable toys) at no extra charge or little roll out beds and snuggle sacs for small guests. The barn is self catering, yet within easy reach of pubs, farm shop and glorious beaches... Guest access Guests have an entirely separate and private barn for exclusive use with it's own entrance up a flight of granite steps. The barn is all on first floor level. Outside, there are five acres of shared garden and also a shared utility room area downstairs with additional shower room, washing machine and dining area.
