The private wooded area is about 7000 square meters, with fir trees, chestnut trees, oaks, a redwood and farmhouse. In spring there is a magnificent flowering of colorful azaleas and rhododendri. In summer the climate is cool, and away from the noise of the city, the silence is only broken by the songs of birds, crickets, and cicadas. With a little luck you can spot wild boars, roe deer, foxes, which can also enter the property. If you want to spend a relaxing vacation, surrounded by nature, this place is for you: you can rest undisturbed, or hike, or ride mountain bike trails, if you want to very scenic points. If, on the other hand, you want to relax with various activities, you will have the opportunity, in order of distance, to walk pleasantly in the medieval village of Prata, which in the summer months organizes various medieval re-enactments (1.4 km from the unpaved road), to visit the beautiful mining town of Massa Marittima with its beautiful Cathedral and events such as the "Balestro del Girifalco", the "Lirica in Piazza", the "White Nights" (13 km away), to reach the nearest beach town of Follonica with its beaches (28 km away), or to visit beautiful art cities such as Siena (60 km away) or even the abbey of San Galgano with the spade in the rock, the Monterotondo Marittimo white park. Animals are allowed as long as they are under surveillance. No dog fence. There is no Wi-Fi signal, and the TV barely picks up one channel. The road can be traveled by any vehicle, but it is a bit bumpy for 1.1 km that is not paved. Guest access The cabin is entirely at your disposal. There are no inhabitants or other tourists in the immediate vicinity. Other things to note The road from Prata to the cabin is about 1.4 km long. It is mostly unpaved and a bit disconnected, but easily accessible by any means. However, it takes some experience and willingness to drive on an uphill and unpaved road.
