If, on the other hand, you want to alternate relaxation with various activities, you will have the opportunity, in order of distance, to stroll pleasantly in the medieval village of Prata, which in the summer months organizes various medieval re-enactments (1.4 km of unpaved road), to visit the beautiful mining town of Massa Marittima with its splendid Cathedral and events such as the "Balestro del Girifalco", the "Lirica in Piazza", the "Notti Bianche" (13 km away), to reach the nearest seaside resort of Follonica with its beaches (28 km away), or to visit beautiful cities of art such as Siena (60 km away) or even the abbey of San Galgano with the sword in the rock, the park of the biancane of Monterotondo Marittimo. Other things to note The road from Prata to the cabin is about 1.4 km long. It is mostly unpaved and a bit disconnected, but easily accessible by any means. However, it takes some experience and willingness to drive on an uphill and unpaved road.
