This characterful barn conversion, retaining many original features, offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom to the lower ground floor with a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner to the upper floor. It is set in 54 acres of beautiful farm land with many country walks straight from the door step. Windermere and Kendal are a short 20 min drive away. Earlier check in is often possible. 2 night min stay at weekends. The space The roomy open plan living area includes: 2 large sofas, TV with DVD player and extensive DVD collection dining table accommodating 4 persons. The kitchen is well equipped with: electric hob and oven, fridge and separate freezer unit, microwave. To the lower ground floor the bathroom contains a full bath with shower over. The 2 bedrooms are light and airy. Outside there is a furnished patio area for your use, along with a BBQ. There are many walks direct from the door step, including a stroll through the woods to the Lyth Valley Hotel. The second Barn conversion (Fellside Barn) is adjoining to the right. The driveway is shared between the two barns and is quite narrow. There is plenty of additional parking for larger vehicles in the farm court yard and elsewhere on the farm. Hot water is supplied by an immersion heater and stored in a cylinder tank. If long showers , deep bath are taken this will deplete the hot water and it will need time to heat up again. An additional bed may be set up in the living room for a 5th guest. Pets are welcome at £20 per pet per stay Regretfully charging of electric cars is not permitted Guest access Guests have access to the entire property and outside space.
