The space 13 SLEEPS (7 bedrooms) Near Passignano sul Trasimeno at the border of Tuscany and Umbria on the Trasimeno lake, this fairy tale castle is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday in Italy and why not for an unforgottable wedding. In the 9 hectars of park that surrounds the castle there is a large swimming pool of exclusive use of our guests. This castle use to belong to the famous Borgia family and has only been open to the public since 1993. The interior of the castle are decorated with frescoes and there are beautiful and old fornitures. At the ground floor there is a living room with a big fireplace and a billiard, a dining room, sitting room with cable TV, large country kitchen, restroom and a laundry. At the first floor there is a wide entrance hall, a large living room overlooking the lake with another big fireplace, two double bedrooms with their private bathroom, another double bedroom with one bathroom. At the second floor there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, one single bedroom and three bathrooms. At the tirth floor there is a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake and the sourroundings. Ideal for hosting weddings and other celebrations, the well equipped staff are able to organize every detail and can even provide extra accommodatin to a further 25 guests at the nearby Monteluce villa, 5 minutes away from the castle. Situated in the centre of Italy, from the castle you can easily reach beautiful town such as Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Orvieto, Siena.. IMPORTANT NOTES: NEW WI-FI WITH ADSL TECHNOLOGY IS AVAILABLE AT THE CASTLE, OLD MATTRESSES HAVE BEEN ALL CHANGED WITH NEW MEMORY MATTRESSES AND THE ELECTRIC BOILER HAS BEEN CHANGED WITH A GAS BOILER IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE ALWAYS HOT WATER. Despite to what written in Sofia's review.. the part of the castle not accesible was never rented in the past, only the owner and his family has access to it and if they go they have respect (in terms of noises) of guests staying in the rented part.
