This recently renovated first floor apartment is situated in the west wing of Nancealverne House, a grade 2* listed Georgian manor house. Perfectly located within easy walking distance of Penzance and only seven miles from St Ives, this is a perfect base to explore everything that Cornwall has to offer. The space The West Wing is accessed via a short flight of steps leading to a large hallway that opens into a wood-panelled living room with a comfy 5-seater corner sofa. A large sash window with window seat looks out towards the private garden. There is a 39" smart TV with freeview and DVD player. A landing leads through to a very well equipped kitchen with a modern double oven, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all of the pots/pans/glass wear/utensils you could possibly need for a self-catered holiday. A separate dining room is located opposite the kitchen and has a large wooden table complete with two sturdy 3-seater benches and two chairs. The elegant master bedroom is furnished with a king-size brass bed, dressing table and chest of drawers. The spacious second bedroom sleeps up to three, and can be configured as either three singles or one single and a 6' super king double. Just let us know how you would prefer it to be set up when booking so that we can have everything ready for your stay. There is a bright bathroom with electric shower over the bath and glass shower screen. A utility room with a washer/dryer, ironing board, airer and laundry basket is located next to the kitchen. In the large hallway you will find everything you need for a day on the beach, incuding buckets, spades and bodyboards, which you are welcome to use. OUTSIDE The west wing has private parking for up to two cars. From the car parking area, a flight of stone steps leads up into your own private garden with a large table and chairs. The garden, which is lined by wisteria and honeysuckle provides the perfect setting for an evening drink or an al fresco meal. LARGER PARTIES If you need more space for a wedding or family get-together, Nancealverne House (sleeps 8), Apple Loft Cottage (sleeps 5) and Admiral's Den (sleeps 4) are located nearby, along with acres of gardens, a lake and woodland all to be enjoyed.
