Lovely Flat With Amazing View

Our flat is close to the beach, has amazing view and located in a charming traditional village that is 1,9 kil away from the island's commercial center. A bus stop is 5' minutes away from the flat which goes to the center and to various beaches (Mid.June- Mid.Sept.), also has a separate entrance, a lovely kitchen, a big bed, a living/dining room, a charming bathroom, heating, a/c, WIFI. Suitable for couples or friends! A convenience store is very near to us open from Mid.June-Mid. Sept. Guest access You can reach the island of Spetses from the mainland different ways: Please notice that cars are not allowed on the island. -By boat from Piraeus, where a hydrofoil will take you to the island within 2-2 ½ hrs. (metro takes you from Athens airport to Piraeus for 8 Euros) -By bus from Kifissos bus station. X93 bus will take you directly to the main bus station. The line is Kranidi, Hermioni, Portocheli, Kosta , a small port on the Peloponesse , opposite to the island of Spetses. The crossing distance is 1.5 mile -By car, which will bring you to Kosta. There you can leave your car in a large parking with 5 euros per day. Therefrom you cross by sea-taxi (23 Euros/crossing), traditional boat (3.0 Euros/person) or ferry-boat (3.0 Euros/person). From the port you can take a bus every 30 min or you can take a taxi (you cannot take your car with you as cars are not allowed on Spetses!) -Or you can sail by your own boat from Pireus to Spetses , it is 52 miles distance. Other things to note Spetses, is an island with a long naval tradition and famous for its significant contribution to the 1821 War of Independence. The island has managed to retain its individual traditional character thanks to its well-preserved grand captain mansions, still bearing eloquent witness to the island’s glorious past. If you are a sports lover, you definitely don't want to miss the unique athletic events organised every year in April "Spetsathlon" and October "Spetses Mini Marathon", where thousands of participants take place. Spetsathlon, the biggest triathlon in Greece, receives athletes from every corner of Greece and the world who enjoy the Swimming, Biking and Running races. On the other hand, Spetses Mini Marathon gathers athletes and visitors that enjoy running and swimming races for the young at heart! Also every year we have the Spetses Classic Yacht Race 2017 (22 Jun 2016 - 25 Jun 2017). The Yacht Club of Greece is organizing the «International Classic Yachts and Aegean Classic Schooners Regatta - Spetses Classic Yacht Regatta 2017» for Classic Yachts, Aegean Classic Schooners, Traditional Open Boats and Dragon Class Boats. Dapia, 20-25 minutes from our home near the main port of Spetses island, is surrounded by old canons and provides a romantic place for a day coffee or an evening drink. You will enjoy long promenades, both in the seaside and the countryside. Also Spetses island is famous for clear waters, good restaurants , bars and night life. Most nightclubs are located in the old harbour area and busy until the early hour. If you enjoy Wining, Dining & Partying , Spetses is the island you can find all that , but also a quiet life with plenty of walking routes, or secluded, hidden coves with sparkling clear seas or beaches .
