Big View Studio, near Loch Lomond National Park

Soak in the views, breathe in fresh air & relax. Studio is bright and airy and modern with stunning views of Ben Lomond and National Park. The sunsets are incredible. A perfect retreat and is a wonderful base for exploring all the area has to offer. Most of our visitors wish they had stayed for longer. Come with time to relax and enjoy the surroundings and bring some food to accompany the chilled bubbly waiting for you. You will not be short of choice for things to do in the area! The space The lounge with balcony doors invites in the healthy, fresh air and has a comfortable sofa and chairs to allow you to sit back and take in the spectacular views. The high deck will provide an opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine and Al Fresco meals whilst watching the sun setting. For your entertainment there is a large screen tv, selection of dvds, broadband access, travel books and games. The kitchenette and dining area is furnished with everything to make your stay a comfortable one - and includes a dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. In the bedroom you will experience complete relaxation on a luxurious super-king bed which will encourage a good, restful sleep and before dozing off you can watch the sun set - if you choose and the weather allows! An en-suite shower room completes the studio. Guest access 1st floor studio apartment accessed via stairs to a private seated decking area. Private parking at foot of the stairs in our large driveway. The studio comprises of an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, with adjoining bedroom area and an en-suite with shower. Other things to note Within a few minutes drive we have wonderful cafes and restaurants , most notably the Old Mill in Killearn, and friendly villages with shops to meet your daily needs. Our local Co-op is 2 mins drive away and is open 7am-10pm. Loch Lomond (15 mins drive) with its scenery, sailings, shopping, golfing and Spa is 15 mins drive. Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and Aberfoyle with the Lodge visitor centre (and GO Ape) is only 15 mins away. Loch Katrine linked with Sir Walter Scott and Rob Roy McGregor is 25 mins drive. Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument are spectacular (30 mins drive). To name but a few places. Studio is at side of our house which backs onto the road north from our village ( pop of 2,000). It is not a main through road (that’s A81) and is used by villagers so not constant traffic in any way. Although we have bottom up blinds on all the windows for your privacy, our top triangular windows from which you can enjoy wonderful views of the moon and stars, do not have blinds, so if you prefer total darkness, you may want to bring an eye mask. Please note we have a no smoking and no pets policy.
