Redlands Retreat. A quiet self contained unit.

A quiet annexe on the side of the farmhouse, offering a relaxing space for two on a beef farm with views to die for! A self contained unit ensuring your own privacy with kitchenette, lounge, kingsize bedroom and ensuite bathroom/shower. Patio/garden with excellent views. Parking. There are plenty of walks from the farm. A shopping outlet village less than 5 miles away, plus lots of places to visit locally. (There is also a z bed for use if needed.) A warm welcome awaits you! X The space We are a working beef farm (formerly dairy) that has been in the family for three generations. We have happy cows and calves that can be seen grazing on the farm. We have two friendly farm collie dogs that roam free, plus a mad GSP! The property/farm is tucked away down a long private drive, behind a hill with lovely views across the levels. You have access to parking for up to two vehicles. Outdoor space.... You have a patio area and can use the garden, (although this is shared with us). Stunning uninterrupted views from the front and back of the property. Walks from your doorstep of the Somerset countryside. Inside the Retreat is an area for leaving shoes and coats. The kitchen is to the left, featuring an electric cooker, microwave, fridge (with small freezer compartment) kettle and toaster. The lounge with a comfy sofa for two and dining area with table and chairs is a good size with French patio door showing stunning views and beautiful sunsets. The bedroom hosts a king-size sleigh bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside unit, still leaving plenty of room and with an ensuit toilet, sink and shower with heated towel rail. All rooms have heaters. I have a fan for the summer. I have a z bed for an occasional extra bed when needed. Can be set up in the lounge on request. Guest access We are located down a reasonably long private roadway, just over quarter of a mile from the road. So it is peaceful and quiet, yet not too far from civilisation either. A car is advisable, although there are buses within walking distance (about half a mile). The Retreat has it's own entrance, and parking bay, with a gravel path leading you through the garden to the door. No steps, (only off the patio into the front garden), flat to the rear garden. We have plenty of walks and footpaths from the front door. Other things to note A basic continental breakfast will be provided including milk, bread and cake or scones on arrival. Tea, coffee and sugar provided. Bicycle storage can be arranged.
