Willow Cottage, Hillside Llangattock

Willow Cottage is located within the Black Mountains, nestled high up on the hillside above the village of Llangattock. Set within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The cottage has fantastic walks from the door, great cycle rides, pony trekking and caving nearby too. Or you can just take a gentle stroll along the Brecon & Monmouth Canal which glides along at the bottom of the hill. Approximately 2 miles away is Crickhowell, with its award winning high street, fabulous pubs and restaurants. The space Set on one level, you step straight into the open plan living space, with generous dining table, leather sofa, Shaker style units and TV/DVD for lazy nights in. The cottage is immaculately clean and is centrally heated so is immediately warm and cosy on arrival. Welcome basket to include: welsh cakes, tea, coffee, milk and sugar (please advise of any specific dietary requirements or allergens) PETS: One well behaved dog is allowed (no puppies under 12 months). Travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request with no additional charge. OUTSIDE: The property is detached from the owners main residence, which is located next door. Parking is at the front of the cottage and there is a pretty patio area at the rear with rattan furniture & barbeque. To note: Wifi is available through the owners router, though this can be slow owing to the rural location. Access: There is a track of a few hundred metres to access the cottage, that can be bumpy in parts. Guest access Inside the cottage is warm and cosy, with a contemporary feel, country touches and a simple layout. It's very easy to feel quickly at home and you can enjoy spreading out the maps and guidebooks provided in the cottage to plan your adventures Other things to note The Hillside Road does not have street lighting, if guests arrive after dark. Some parts of the road are very steep.
