Description
A traditional terraced cottage set alongside two other holiday homes in the heart of the village of Lea, on the border of the Royal Forest of Dean. Thoughtfully furnished throughout, the property provides welcoming, contemporary accommodation, ideal for a get-together with family and friends wishing to explore this unspoilt part of the country. The space The cottage forms part of the former village Post Office and the original internal post box can still be seen in the sitting room; a spacious room with ample comfy seating, guests can settle in front of a stone inglenook fireplace, which houses a warming woodburner. Through to the rear of the cottage is a large dining kitchen, which boasts a Belfast sink and oak worktops. A useful wet room is also situated on the ground floor. The stairs lead to a luxurious family bathroom and three lovely bedrooms (one of which is also a garden room, ideal for dining or relaxing with a book or a family board game). Other things to note - Being an old cottage, the ceiling in the kitchen is relatively low. - The garden is separate from the cottage next door but is not completely private in places.
