Our cozy and peaceful apartment is in a 17th century tuscan farm house, on the hills that face Florence-Prato-Pistoia. Ideal for peace-seekers and perfect as a Tuscany sightseeing base. The space Our apartment is cozy and liveable, in an old tuscan house (1600 ca), on the top of the green hills facing the Florence valley. Ideal for a peaceful stay and for great tuscan sightseeing! Apartment in a farmhouse on the top of the green hills of Carmignano, ideal for lovers of "geography" because the view extends from the Apennine forests Acquerino to the heights of Pratomagno and the valley that combines Pistoia and Prato and Florence. The geographical location makes this place the center point and great base to reach many important places in Tuscany: 20 km from Florence, 13 km from Prato, 15 km from Pistoia, 90 km from Siena, 60 km from Lucca and not more than 90 km from the coast. In the vicinity (1 km) there is a winery (Capezzana) where you can taste wines, visit the wine-cellars and where to eat local products. In this area there are many restaurants of genuine Tuscan cuisine. Not far away (2 km) There is also a nice little town, Bacchereto, easily reachable on foot, where you will find an excellent restaurant (the house where Leonardo da Vinci's mother lived), a bar and a grocery store. The nearest airport is Florence (20km) and Pisa is 70 km away.
