Blackdown Hills Hot Tub retreat

An ideal escape for a couple, Nuthatch is a cosy, tastefully decorated and well equipped holiday home set within the grounds of the owners' property in Stockland within the lovely Blackdown Hills AONB. Dog friendly. Private use of hot tub. You may like to bring your own bathrobes (spa towels are provided). A 20 minute drive from the stunning Jurassic Coast and easy driving distance from the National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor. There are lots of lovely local walks or cycling routes nearby The space Coffee, tea, milk, home-made cake & fresh eggs from our hens are provided for your arrival. A selection of maps, books, board games and DVDs are supplied for those rainy days or quiet evenings in. Home made cakes and cream teas available to order. The King’s Arms in Stockland is our lovely local pub, well worth a visit. The 13th century Tuckers Arms pub is 2 miles away in the neighbouring village of Dalwood. Guest access Nuthatch is totally separate and self-contained and is situated at the top of the owners’ garden with its own parking area, a beautiful private hot-tub and a small outside table & chairs. Other things to note Nuthatch is approximately half an hour from J25 of the M5. Honiton and Axminster railway stations are both about 20 minutes away and Exeter airport is a 40 minute drive. Collection from either station or airport can be arranged. Nearest supermarkets are situated in either Honiton (Tesco, Aldi & Lidl), Axminster (Tesco & Co-Op) or Chard (Tesco, Lidl or Sainsburys). Home delivery can be arranged.
