Old Admiralty Cottage Family Room sleeps up to 3

We live in the beautiful area of The Lizard in Cornwall. The accommodation is a large upstairs room and separate private shower room. There are 2 beds: 1 double bed and 1 single bed. We provide bed linen and towels. Free off-road parking and wifi available. Located about one mile from the lizard village, noted as the most southerly UK mainland location, with lighthouse and gift shops. Footpaths to Cadgwith Cove and Kynance Cove run by our garden and join with the South West Coast path. The space This is an upstairs room. The stairs are an open plan construction with only one handrail. Please note that children may need to be supervised when using the stairs. Guest access A self service buffet breakfast of cereals, porridge, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided in your room. We do not provide a hot cooked breakfast. There is a dining area in your room. We don't mind if you wish to bring in a takeaway meal. There is a small fridge for milk and a microwave if needed. There is a small patio and bench outside the front door as well as many seating areas in the garden. Between the departure and arrival of each guest the rooms are thoroughly cleaned. Clean bed linen and towels are provided. Frequently touched surfaces and objects are cleaned and disinfected. This includes keys, door handles, cupboard handles, TV remote, surfaces, bed rails, etc. The communal areas are the stairs and landing. Each bathroom is thoroughly cleaned after each guest has checked out. During your stay I will respect your privacy but I will always be around during your stay if you need to ask any questions. I am always available by phone or text. Other things to note Although this is a rural and remote area of Cornwall we live on a busy main road. I would not advise our guests to walk this road as there are no pavements and the traffic is fast. I often give lifts to people wishing to visit Lizard village as it is only 1 mile away. If you would like a lift to the village or to be picked up from the village please ask me. I do not mind at all. If you are travelling by train, coach or bus I cannot pick you up from Helston, Penzance, Truro or Redruth. Please look carefully at a map of Cornwall to gain an idea of distances. There are frequent buses from Helston to Lizard village. Ask to be dropped off at Kynance Garage and you will be outside our place.
