Description
Mount Pleasant is set amidst 30 acres of pasture and woodland and was fully refurbished in 2009. It has been our family's home since we 'escaped to the countryside' in 2006. Instead of being an empty nest, now the children have grown and flown, the opportunity presents to share this idyllic location with others wishing to experience and explore Herefordshire, the Welsh Borders and all they have to offer. The space Mount Pleasant is all one house but incorporates a self contained apartment which, by the bolting of two doors, gives one couple seclusion should they wish for it. However, with the doors open this is very much part of the main house. The apartment is comprised of a bedroom (super king memory foam bed), bathroom, lounge with small dining space and kitchenette as well as its own parking space and entrance. The rest of the house has two bedrooms prepared for guests upstairs either side of the main bathroom and a good quality sofa bed (king size) in the Snug downstairs. Also downstairs there is the main lounge, kitchen-diner, garden/boot room and downstairs WC. Additionally guests have the large garden to themselves which is mainly lawn and parking areas which should be sufficient for 4 cars. Guest access There is one small room upstairs (the hosts office) which is not specially prepared for guests and as such is pretty messy. Other things to note Heating and hot water are provided by a pellet boiler which is controlled via an app by the host. If you need a boost to either please don't hesitate to get in touch. All other supplies found in the kitchen and bathrooms are also freely available to be used by guests during their stay with the exception of alcohol for which a suitable contribution is expected to be made into the 'honesty pot' in the hallway.
