Guest suite in Agarone

The independent studio in a renovated small stone barn has its own garden and overlooks a car-free traditional hamlet only 15 minutes from Locarno and Verzasca valley. Attached to the modern bedroom is a generous bathroom (an ode to the Caribbean sea) equipped with cooking utensils, 3 electric plates and fridge for your breakfast or a light lunch. No direct road access but a short walk through the hamlet (∼80m) with some minor steps. Limit the weight of your luggage! Free parking in the area. The space The disused barn has been transformed in 2014, maintaining the original stone and wood character while adding some modern concrete where needed. The 4x5m bedroom and the bathroom are decorated with objects and artwork brought home from our jobs all over the world. Heating is through a pellet stove (wood pellets are provided). Guest access The garden with the stone table in front of your room is all yours to use. Other things to note - Tourist tax of 3.25 Fr. per night and person are included in the room rent. - First breakfast (with home-made jam) is included. - Various red and white wines from local producers (within 10 km) are in the kitchen cupboard and can be purchased according to the price list. - A picnic basket with plates, cutlery and glasses is there for you to use. - The double bed measures 180x200 cm (also known as king size bed) with two independent mattresses of 90x200 cm. - There is no TV (and never will be). - Because of the limited choice of airbnb definitions we listed the room as "guest suite" even if there is only one room (with attached a biiig bathroom). - If you don't know our area, get inspired by googling "inspire me Ticino".
