Tenuta Busulmone is now extended to a capacity of 12 adults + 2 kids, with a total of 7 rooms and 7 bathrooms in 4 different living areas, all connected through garden paths. A minimum stay of 2 weeks is required. The space Tenuta Busulmone, once an aristocratic rural property with a monastery, has been totally restored between 2006 and 2018. Living spaces are located in an original stone-building dated 1852 meticulously restored (Palmento and Depandance) and in 2 new buildings recently built near the pool (Suite and Art Studio). Guests areas include outdoor patios hidden in exotic gardens, a 30 mt rural style swimming pool, naturalistic trails and art installations through 28 hectares of land. Guest access Palmento (200 sq. meters) > includes 1 king size master bedroom with a bathroom inside (shower); 1 double bedroom with 2 queen size beds and 1 single queen size bedroom which both share a large bathroom (shower and tub); a large living room with a movable TV screen; a large fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and oven. A maximum of 5 adults can sleep here. Dependance (80 sq. meters) > includes a triple bedroom with a king size bed + a single bed and a two-story bathroom (tub); a living area with a small kitchenette. A maximum of 2 adults and 1 kid can sleep here. Suite (25 sq. meters) > includes a large bedroom with a futon bed; a walking dress room with a double bathroom (2 showers); an independent patio with a gazebo. A maximum of 2 adults can sleep here. Art Studio (50 sq. meters) > includes 1 king size bedroom with a bathroom (shower); 1 bedroom with queen size foldable bed with a bathroom; an art gallery style living areas with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and oven. A maximum of 3 adults and 1 infant can sleep here. Tettoia (outdoor covered patio) > includes a dining area; an industrial type fully equipped kitchen with grill including a dishwasher; a small bathroom; a laundry area including washer and dryer. AC and Wifi in all areas. All living areas include fridge and an espresso machine. All bedrooms with wooden beams and double mattresses for a comfortable and relaxing sleep. Interior decorations include unique design pieces and artistic rarities by Paul Thuile, Flavio Favelli, Filippo Maggia and ateliers such as Franceschini Roma, Vuitton Paris, Benassi Bologna, Artemide Milano, British Bullfinch London. Additional art installations are available within the property by Cuoghi Corsello and Georg Reinking. Other things to note ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIVE SERVICES -Our special welcoming gift is now packed with 2 special bottles of local wineries, a catalogue from the annual Art Studio exhibit, a box of 100 Sicilian coffee capsules for our espresso machines and fresh lemons from our garden. -Full cleaning sessions every 4 days including towels, bathrobes and sheets change. -Grocery pre-ordering for the day of arrival. A cook or a catering service are also an option with an anticipated payment before the arrival. -Our team officially welcomes a new remote personal concierge, helping clients with any kind of information, bookings or suggestions they may need. Any communication can be in English or Italian via mail before and during our guests stay. -A logistic supervisor is available full time for clients on site; initially for all required technical explanations within check-in procedures and later during their stay for any emergency it may occur. -Our administrative office provides guests automatic registration through passports scanning, bounding the City of Noto requirements. -A very special non-fiction & novels vintage book library is available in the Palmento. Clients may find rare books published in Italian, English, French and German and they are all “to go” for them. You can either leave a sign of your passage or take a literary souvenir from Tenuta Busulmone. -A permanent annual contemporary art exhibit is set up in the Art Studio. In 2023 we host Ettore Sottsass “The rest of the vulcano”, featuring large and medium size photographic works by internationally renown Italian artist and designer. -Outdoor areas feature a new 2 km exclusive “naturartistic” walking trail, named Planta Manent after an intensive work by the duo Francesca Romana Gaglione and Paolino Uccello. Our trail can be used either with a classic walking equipment or with rental bikes provided by a specialized shop in Noto.
