Holiday Chalet Ecolodge- group house (up to 25p)

This beautiful two-floor vacation house is ideal for family vacations, study / seminar trips, smaller school and enthusiast groups, and for the hosting of special events. Five charming bedrooms accommodate up to 25 people. (AirBNB seems to accept bookings for up to 16 adults. If you are more than 16 people, please let us know). Common areas include a well equiped kitchen and a big dining and living room and two bathrooms. The space Our guesthouse, Schwendihütte, is a romantic harborage for families, school groups, and hikers alike. This cozy 18th Century wooden house has been ecologically renovated and can accommodate 25 persons between its hand-crafted beds. It is ideal for hosting large groups such as sleep-away camps, weeks of active study, family celebrations, or special events. A well-equipped kitchen and dining room, sanitary facilities, and a cozy living room with a fireplace are available for your enjoyment. We also invite you to enjoy the view of the Augstmatthorn mountain from the dining area out on the large eastern terrace, and to finish the day in the dusk light on the western terrace with a barbecue and an expansive view of the Habkern Valley. Guest access The entire apartment is yours, including the outdoor space. Rented to one group at a time only. Other things to note Infants Families with small children are also welcome (at their own risk). Upon request we do have two Baby travel beds as well as two baby seats. (older children would have to be accommodated between the adults in the shared rooms). Please be aware that we do not have a child safety lock on the internal staircase. Maximum number of guests AirB&B limits the number of guests to 16 persons. Our group house has however place for 25 persons. additional guest tax IMPORTANT: Our municipality will charge a visitor's tax of 4 CHF/night per adult person and 1.50 CHF/night for children between 6-16j. in addition to the booking fees. DOGS not allowed. BED AND BATH LINEN As usual in such group accommodations, bed linen/towels are not included in the price. We recommend to bring your own bed linen. If this is not possible, you can book the linen equipment at the time of booking or at the latest 1 week before the start of the rental period for a one-time fee of 15 CHF/bed (sheet, comforter cover and pillow cover). Breakfast With early inquiry (and our presence assumed) breakfast in our small cafe can be booked in addition. Just ask us. If you have any further questions or concerns, we will be happy to help you.
