Field available from May until September for group camping for up to 30 people near Matlock in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside on the edge of the Peak District, direct access to footpaths to Riber Castle, Matlock Bath, Matlock, through open fields. Local pubs in the village for real ales/food. Train station 1.6 miles. The space This is the fourth year we are doing camping, we are learning and aim to provide the best experience we can. Endeavouring to be sustainable wherever possible equipment is reused to give a second life, firewood is collected on the farm too. We do have a separate listing for a 3 bed Airbnb "Peak District Country House" with great reviews, our guests love the area and think campers will enjoy the surrounding fields which are separate to the house for camping with great views and the tranquillity of the area. Sorry no loud or amplified music or stag/hen do's, to respect guests in the farmhouse. However there is the opportunity (when available) to book both if you have friends and family which would prefer a little luxury. There’s an outdoor kitchen gas bbq, two burner gas stove, plenty of pots , pans and cutlery, washing up area with hot and cold water. Campfire area with seating/tables. Covered sofa area with a panoramic elevated view and chiminea. Also an indoor dining area and utility in the old stone barns, including larder fridge, kettle, microwave, plug sockets for charging phones etc, for use by the campers. Great shower facility with plenty of hot water, and toilet facilities. The nightly price includes up to 16 adults and children, additional adults and children are welcome, £5 per adult /child payable per night on arrival. Just message me your group size. There’s a big Sainsburys as well as M&S, small coop and Morrisons as well as Iceland, Greggs and amazing Birds bakery in Matlock and a very good Coates Butchers at Darley Dale and good Maycocks butcher’s at Holloway .
