Magnificent seafront location with a garden to the beach, enjoying wonderful panoramic views over Portree Bay to the Isle of Raasay, This Georgian house is decorated , furnished and equipped to a very high standard with period furniture and original works of art. All rooms enjoy stunning views over the bay, from your bed you can watch the yachts and fishing boats It is not unusual to see dolphins and seals and a variety of birdlife. Max. 4 guests on request we will accept one well behaved dog. The space The house is three storeys high all windows overlook the sea. We have an oil 4 doorAGA for cooking in the large spacious kitchen which looks out onto the beach. Very large sitting room. Study for those that have to work. All the spacious bedrooms have sea views Electric central heating. WIFI for out guests. You can eat in the seafront garden or just relax watching the constantly changing views or set off on one of several walks around the coastline. It's just a few minutes walk from the charming, quiet town with a large selection of shops many with handcrafted products, pubs and a variety of excellent restaurants serving local produce and seafood. There are several good restaurants within the bay and a short walk away. Skye is the walkers and climbers paradise from the Cuillin Mountains to coastal walks. Portree is ideally placed to visit all parts of the Isle – Dunvegan Castle and the coral beach, Waternish Penisula, Armadale “The garden of Skye”, the majestic scenery of the Trotternish Peninsula, Talisker Distillery, take a boat ride through the Cuillins. From Uig you can visit the Outer Isles of Harris, Lewis & Uist, - Magnificent scenery, unspoilt beaches, castles and ancient brochs are just a taste of the wide diversity of things to see and do on Skye.
