Garden Cottage (Munden House)

Garden Cottage offers a roomy sitting room and kitchen with a bedroom upstairs and en suite shower room. Overlooking the garden it is quiet and private. We provide a dellicious continental breakfast for the first morning of your stay but for many this lasts longer. Guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful garden or take a short walk to Oxfords bakery for coffee and pastries. It is less than a five minute drive into Sherborne with it's historic Abbey, excellent resturants and individual shops The space Garden Cottage is light and airy with French doors that lead out to the garden. Downstairs there is a lovely sitting room with a comfortable sofa that faces the Smart TV that includes Netflix. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher & microwave. Upstairs there is a bedroom with king sized bed. A good night's sleep is essential, so beds have top quality mattresses, crisp Egyptian cotton linen, opulent feather duvets and pillows. Off the bedroom is a bathroom with a large walk in shower and luxury toiletries. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the Cottage and are totally independent. Guest are also welcome to use the gardens which have plenty of places to sit. Other things to note We are in the Dorset countryside on a quiet lane with beautiful views from the 2 acre garden across the Blackmore vale towards BulBarrow Hill. However, it is less than a five minute drive into the historic town of Sherborne with it's many independent shops, wonderful Abbey and two castles.
