- Welcome to Dunore Point - Located in an idyllic setting beside Lough Neagh, very close to the International Airport and within easy reach of bustling Belfast and the stunning North Coast. This NITB certified accommodation is ideal for guests catching an early flight, or those wishing to explore Northern Ireland. The space The NON-SMOKING, private / self-contained ensuite room has its own external door and outside deck with views of Lough Neagh. The room boasts a comfortable double bed with fluffy pillows, ensuite shower room, Tassimo coffee machine, and Freeview enabled TV with DVD player and a selection of movies to choose from. An in-room self-catering breakfast is provided as standard. It includes a selection of teas and coffees, fresh Danish pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, yogort and cereal bars. Guest access The BnB space is part of the main home, which we as hosts live in. The guest room is closed off to the house when guests stay, and the remainder of the home is private. We are sensitive with regard to guest privacy; we are careful not to intrude on guest areas and are courteous with house noise. We trust that all guests choosing accomodation of this type will offer the same courtesy in return. During your stay As the guest room is completely private and self-contained, it affords you maximum privacy. We aim to give you peace and quiet, so you may not meet us often during your stay. We are happy to advise on local amenities or assist you in any way to make your stay more comfortable. We’ve tried to think of everything to make your time with us as easy and enjoyable as possible. If there is anything else we can do to help, please feel free to ask! Other things to note - IMPORTANT - 3 points to please note before booking with us: 1 . We must stress that guests choosing any accomodation in Northern Ireland that is off the beaten track really do need access to their own car. Whilst our property is very close to the airport, we sit in a rural location unserviced by public transport. Our past guests have generally found local taxi services very good, however the Covid19 virus has had a massive impact on all local taxi companies. We unfortunately cannot guarantee any longer that guests will be able to book early morning taxi transport to catch flights. 2. The space on offer is a Bed & Breakfast room, therefore cooking facilities are not available. Refrigeration of food is limited to the rooms' mini-fridge, which is large enough to hold the breakfast items we provide, plus a few extra items. We can offer a microwave upon request for easy heating of ready-meals. Also, local takeaway restaurants do deliver to the property. 3. We live a few hundred meters from the waters' edge, so being close to water does mean we get tiny freshwater flies (midges) and subsequently also spiders in milder weather. They are harmless and do not bite. Please ask about this prior to your booking if you have any concerns.
