Treathro Farm - Rural, sea views, woodburner

We are a working farm situated in a wonderful part of the Pembrokeshire National Park right on the coast. If you crave peace and quiet listening to the birds or the cows gently mooing come and stay with us! The Dairy is situated on our farmyard close to the main farmhouse with outstanding views of farmland and the coast from the large glass patio doors which lead onto the small private enclosed garden. There is direct access to the coastal path via our private farm track (a 10 minute walk). The space The Dairy is a warm inviting space all on one level with underfloor heating throughout. The combined living/kitchen area has amazing views over the farm and coast - not to mention the stunning sunsets! The large sliding doors give you direct access to the private patio and stock fenced garden. Clever use of space has allowed the fitting of a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, ceramic hob and dishwasher in addition to lots of storage space and an extendable oak dining table for 4/6 people. The living area has 3 seater leather settee, 2 tub chairs, sideboard, wall mounted flat screen TV with Freesat, Wifi, Ipod docking station, bluetooth speaker and woodburner. A selection of books and board games are provided. There is a large walk in shower room, with a powerful overhead shower, handheld unit and shower stool. Illuminated mirrored cabinet with power points and heated towel rail. The spacious main bedroom can be made up with either a super king bed or two single beds (this needs specifying when booking). One window overlooks the old farmyard, two windows look out over lawn. There are room darkening blinds and privacy blinds. Underfloor heating. Wardrobe, bedside tables, dressing table, chest of drawers, bookcase, bedroom chair, mirror, TV, small desk. The smaller second bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, dressing table, cupboard and TV. Room for extra storage underneath the bedframe. Velux window in roof with room darkening blind. We are very rural and have no mobile signal within and around the immediate vicinity of the property. It is possible to use your mobile by enabling Wifi calling on your phone or using What's App. There is a landline within the property for incoming and local calls. We have recently upgraded the Wifi to fibre, so the internet is good. A Welcome Pack contains a small variety of teas, coffee pods, home made bara brith, welsh cakes, milk from a local farm and our own farm eggs. A travel cot, highchair and fireguard can be supplied on request. Flexible check in/out times depending on availability. DOGS: Maximum 1 well behaved adult dog. Dogs should be on the lead at all times when on the farm except when in the enclosed garden attached to the Dairy. We ask that dogs don’t go on beds or soft furnishings out of consideration for our other guests. Dogs should not be left for long periods of time unattended in The Dairy, if you are out for the day we may be able to 'dog sit' by prior arrangement. ADJOINING FARM UTILITY (occasionally used by owners with notice): Additional kitchen with fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, shower and WC, underfloor heating. Can be used as a drying room for coats, wellies, walking boots and dogs. Room for dog crates/beds if required. Secure storage for mountain bikes/surf boards. EXTERNAL Paved patio with table and chairs adjoining the private enclosed garden fenced with stock netting overlooking pastureland. Fire pit, rotary washing line, dustbins. Plenty of parking space. Due to an increasing number of guests with electric/hybrid cars we have recently installed a 22Kw EV charger (at an extra charge) in the farmyard. Outside tap (shower hose) for hosing off dirty dogs, sandy shoes etc Guest access In addition to the Dairy, you will have use of the Farm Utility immediately next to the Dairy containing another shower and WC and the washing machine and tumble dryer. This is for your use only unless notified. Other things to note We are very rural and a car is essential. The closest beach is a 10 minute drive away or a beautiful 2hr walk along the coastal path via our private farm track. We have no mobile signal within and around the immediate vicinity of the property. It is possible to use your mobile by enabling Wifi calling on your phone or using What's App. There is a landline within the property for incoming and local calls. We have recently upgraded the Wifi to fibre, so the internet is good. Some basic necessities are supplied including toilet rolls, kitchen roll, dishcloth, T towels, washing up liquid, hand wash, and kitchen condiments. We do not expect you to do any cleaning but there are also some cleaning materials (including antiviral spray) if you need them. On very windy days it is not possible to use the woodburner. Our 2 dogs and 4 farm cats have free access to the farm (other than your garden!)
