Gîte in mansion near Albi

The 35 m2 gîte is located at the southern end of our property. It has a separate entrance, a beautiful terrace, an equipped kitchen with sitting area (approximately 12 m2), a bedroom with a 160 double bed, office area and an en-suite bathroom. The accommodation is comfortable and bright. It overlooks a large garden and vegetable garden. It belongs to the peace of a village while being close to urban life. Self check-in in case of absence of the owners. The space We are close to cities like Albi and Gaillac and also many villages in the Tarn countryside that allow for exciting hikes. This late 19th century mansion has kept a strong presence of its history. The large garden of nearly one hectare is divided between leisure and permaculture areas. We are a French-English couple, in love with nature and philosophy. It would also be suitable for those who are traveling for work in the Albi or Carmaux area. Long stays are possible between October and April, we ask that those interested contact us before booking in order to consider an appropriate rate. Guest access Entry is through the 1 Rue de la République, just at the third exit of the roundabout at the bottom of the hill coming from Carmaux. Other things to note - We do everything we can to offer disinfected accommodation to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We limit contact with our guests as much as possible while remaining available. For guests without a vehicle, we can pick you up from Carmaux train station and drop you off there.
