Cozy Alpine-style house in the mountains

Located in the characteristic village of Rore in the Varaita Valley, the Curt d'Amun farmhouse is the ideal place for people who love nature, mountains, culture and local food and wine. The house is located in the upper part of the village at an altitude of about 950m and has a beautiful view of the mountains and the village. The space Built in stone and wood, the traditional way of this place, the house is located in the village of Rore at an altitude of about 950 metres in the Varaita Valley. In total, the house sleeps 10, and is ideal for families or groups of friends. It has been recently renovated and is fully furnished. Outside there is a large private courtyard with a view of the mountains and the village below, where in summer we put deck chairs and a table for eating with a view of nature and the valley below. The house consists of an open-plan kitchen-living room on the ground floor which overlooks the outdoor area, available to the guests (in summer you can eat peacefully outside); the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a small service bathroom. Going up the stairs, on the first floor there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with their own balconies. Also on this floor are the bathrooms consisting of the laundry area, two toilets and two showers; on the second floor is an attic room with six beds (two of which are bunk beds) and a large balcony with a view of the village and mountains. Linen is included, the minimum stay is two nights and the house is rented to groups of at least four people. Being in the part of the village that is only a five-minute walk from the car park and the central square of the village, where there is a grocery shop and the 'Amici' bar/restaurant. The location makes the house quiet, private and away from traffic. We are waiting for you!!! You are welcome!!! Guest access The house is located in the upper part of the village, where the streets are narrow and very characteristic, so it can only be accessed on foot. Access for guests is possible either from the centre of the village or by a road that leads to our garages, at the back of the house. The first option involves arriving at the village and parking the car on the central square; from there you proceed on foot for about 5-10 minutes crossing the central road and turning into an uphill road of about 100 metres that leads to the courtyard where the house is. For the second option, which involves arriving at the back of the house, you can drive about 100-150 m from the house to unload luggage and suitcases, and you can park 200 m away where we have a private car park available for guests. The roads are mountain roads, so caution and patience are required. In winter, snow tyres or chains on board are absolutely recommended. Other things to note The indicated price is for two persons per night and is not rented to groups of less than 4 persons. Pets are subject to a surcharge of EUR 10 per night.
