Fenny Castle Vineyard Cottage near Wells, Somerset

The cottage oozes character, from the oak beams to the huge inglenook fireplace with woodburner. Well equipped kitchen with traditional oak table and pews. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and a small single bed, suitable for a child. Adjoining the bedroom, is the shower room with walk in shower. There is a large private patio area for relaxing and barbecuing outside, with views of the hillside. We have a vineyard producing English Sparkling and Still Wines, made on site. The space The cottage is at Fenny Castle vineyard, where we produce English sparkling and still wines, and sparkling and still ciders.We offer vineyard/ winery tours and tastings. Eggs from our free range hens are available as well as seasonal produce. Vineyard tours and tutored tastings are available at £20 a head bookable on our Fenny Castle Vineyard website. Other things to note Firewood now has to be kiln dried by law so we have bags of kiln dried firewood available to buy in our shop, for the woodburner.
