The full suite of rooms on two floors, offers all year round cosy comfort and a refuge from a chaotic world in a hamlet tucked away in the folds of the hills behind Bruton. The space From the cobbled yard, the entrance hall leads upstairs to where there is a luxurious bedroom with a sumptuous king-size Vi-spring bed, and en-suite bathroom. Large windows overlooking the court-yard and countryside, allow the room to be filled with morning sunshine. Downstairs has snug under-floor heating, a monsoon fitted shower-room, fully equipped kitchen adjoining a spacious sitting room with large windows, comfy sofas, bookshelves, cosy fireplace, wifi and the usual entertainment equipment and library. “The Retreat is a lovely quite place to stay with very amenable hosts who are there if you need them but otherwise leave you in private. A great location for touring the local area. Other things to note The bed is a V-spring Kingsize. It has a medium tension pocket sprung matress and sprung divan base for extra comfort. The pillows are feather and down and there are hyper-allegenic hollow fill alternatives available. The duvet is hollow fibre too.
