Charming English cottage at the manor house

The small thatched cottage furnished with English antiques at the E.-M.-Arndt birthplace is nestled in a enchanting flower garden with reed bed and here and there wide views over meadows and fields. The cottage allows you to have an absolutely relaxing vacation, away from the crowded places. Beautiful quiet natural beaches invite you to swim and walk and are within a few kilometers. A small natural harbor with restaurant is very close. The space The house is furnished with antiques from the Dorchester Hotel, London, historic English lights, rose tableware, silver cutlery and other small treasures. When furnishing the house with antiques, we have therefore kept sustainability in mind while still placing a lot of emphasis on aesthetics. This is also evident in the floors: they are made of old oak planks and pine woods. Ecology also plays an important role for us when heating the house: the house is completely heated with the wonderfully warming soapstone stove, and for this we only use dead wood or trees from the forest uprooted by storm damage, so that we can always enjoy the warmth and the cozy fire in a relaxed manner. On the covered terrace, wicker furniture invites you to relax while looking over the meadows or in the perennial garden. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. Kitchen herbs are in the beds and can be freshly harvested for cooking. Opposite - in the small old former milking house - there is a small wine shop. You are welcome to help yourself. Enjoy the quiet little refuge, relax far away from the noise and just listen to the birdsong and the rustling leaves.
