Polk House | A Stylish Stay in Ogden

This 4 bed/ 2 bath home is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood on Ogden's east bench. It sleeps up to 8 with ample amenities: high-speed WiFi, 3 TVs & all new appliances. New HOT TUB & backyard fire pit! There’s a great front porch, relaxing back yard, a really cool breakfast nook, work-area, washer & dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, 5 beds (2 queen beds, 2 full, and 1 twin), stylish decor, and a 2nd cozy little living room downstairs. Head’s up! The basement ceilings are low: approx. 6 ft The space I have designed this space personally to create a warm and stylish place to stay. Every time I walk in the door I am instantly relaxed and I think you will be too. The furniture and decor throughout reflect my personal passions and interests: films, books, music, and photography. The design is modern and simple, but with enough color to make it feel vibrant and inviting. Whatever brings you to Ogden- ski trip, work, family reunion- this home will work for you. The kitchen has enough fridge space, cooking utensils, and appliances for creating a home-cooked meal. The office/dining area has a large desk and chair to set up shop, or a table big enough to sit down for dinner. The retro diner breakfast nook is my new favorite coffee spot and the backyard is great to chill and talk the night away or jump in the hot tub and watch the stars. The bedrooms are cozy and quiet for a great night's sleep. And the front porch, with its large sectional sofa, has a great sunset view! The bathrooms are bright and clean and there's a washer/dryer whenever you need them. And I’ve added a rack in the back entry to store your ski gear. Guest access The only places you CANNOT access are: • The locked owner’s cabinets in the basement • Garage Other than that the space is yours to use! Other things to note Just as a heads up: during the winter I am not available to come and clear snow from the driveway after a storm. There is a snow shovel and bucket of salt outside for you to use as needed. I highly recommend clearing any snow and salting BEFORE driving or walking on the driveway. It is steep and can be super slick! Be safe out there. :) Pets are welcome, but there is a $100 fee per pet with a maximum of two. 🦮🐈 I have found that even the best behaved of pets end up leaving their hard-to-remove hair behind on furniture, bedspreads, and on the floors. They often innocently leave scratches and chew marks on furniture and decor. And yes, sometimes have accidents in the house. 😬 In the hall closet is a stack of grey sheets that I ask you to put over any furniture your pet might gravitate towards. Also, the fireplace is NOT functional. Please don’t use it. It will fill the house with smoke. I made that mistake when I first moved in…. Twice. 🤦🏻‍♂️
