2 bed Annex with the most amazing view

Bickleigh Cottage, Listed Grade II, is the archetypal picture-postcard cottage, a pretty, thatched cottage sitting on the banks of the River Exe with great access to Exeter 11 miles and Tiverton 4 miles on the A396 that passes past the cottage The original house was built in the 17th Century And had been used as a guest house for many years. The Annex is a beautiful 2 bed 2 bathroom cottage with an excellent Kitchen and Living room over looking the river Ex. The space The Annex is a 400 year old thatched cottage. We have added in extra touches to help people's stay be as comfortable as possible. As it is an old building please be advised that not everything is ultra modern and somethings may be a little bit quirky. The annex is cleaned thoroughly after every visit and whilst we try to remove all cobwebs we are located next to the river and the building is old so we may miss one occasionally. There is central heating upstairs. Downstairs there is an oil filled radiator in the kitchen and there is an electric fire in the lounge which can heat the room up very quickly. As hosts we are located next door and are available to assist when guests may require help so we ask if guests contact us directly of any issues so these can be resolved quickly and efficiently. Please be advised there is a road that runs along one side of the property. This is a road that links Tiverton to Exeter and is convenient and saves using the M5 especially when it gets busy during the summer months. As it is a road there will be some traffic noise. There is no pavement (welcome to Devon) but there is a gate half way down the garden which guests can use if walking to the local pub or the Mill and this will reduce some of the walking on the road. Having said all this we have one of the best views within Devon and it can be a joy to sit by the river and see the kingfishers and the jumping trout so sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
