THE BOAT HOUSE Nestled one street back from Crag Path, side by side with Aldeburgh's iconic beachfront houses, The Boat House is ten steps to the beach with charming partial sea views from every window at the front of the house. Turn the corner from the front door and you are in the middle of Aldeburgh High Street, surrounded by the bakery, delis, art galleries and Aldeburgh’s finest restaurants. The space BEDROOMS 1. The master bedroom has a lovely big window with angled views out to the beach and sea. The comfortable bed is king size. It is located on the second floor of the Boat House and the bathroom is conveniently located across the hall. 2. A second master bedroom features a very comfortable European king bed. Up high on the third floor, this room has a wonderful floor to ceiling window that allows lovely lofty light to stream into the room. It is a perfect vantage point to enjoy glorious pink Aldeburgh sunrise rising up over the sea. 3. A twin bedroom for guests also sits at the top of the house. There are two oak cabin beds with drawers and pretty views over the Aldeburgh rooftops. LIVING ROOM The cosy living room has a Chesney fireplace, comfortable seating, internet enabled TV and a good selection of fun board games, Wentworth jigsaws and a record player with a collection of records. The double doors lead out to a large suntrap courtyard that gets wonderful afternoon light. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need for an escape to the seaside. BATHROOM The large bathroom features underfloor heating, bath tub, shower, toilet and bidet. BABY FRIENDLY The cottage has a very good quality travel cot and linen for babies, a Baby Bjorn bouncer and a high chair. Guest access Guests can access the property 24/7. Other things to note DIRECTIONS AND PARKING There are several road access points into King Street. It is a wobbly narrow road that runs parallel with Crag path along the seafront. The Boat House is next to Number 35 King Street, in the central area of Aldeburgh. PARKING There is very good availability of free on-street parking in this area of Aldeburgh. Typically, parking is available within 10 seconds from The Boat House front door. Sophie will send parking tips along with the Boat House instructions leading up to your stay.
