It was built on the site of a working farm and still retains the vestiges of the old milking parlour in the garden. The Bower is a spacious annexe to the main house built in 1995, echoing the original distinctive architecture of the house. Overlooking the historic Vile (medieval strip field system) and its network of cliff top footpaths, the Bower also commands views of the 13th century church and the islet of Burry Holms at the far end of Rhossili Bay. Simply but stylishly furnished, the Bower comprises a modern fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and open plan living area with French windows opening on to a patio and lawn area with barbeque. The vaulted hallway leads up to the half landing with library sitting area. A further stairway leads to the bedroom with large window and vaulted ceiling. The fully equipped kitchen includes built in oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and Microwave oven. The spacious living area includes comfortable leather chairs, flat screen HD TV, DVD and audio equipment and feature electric fireplace. Background heating is provided by combined electric convector/storage heaters. The four piece bathroom on the ground floor includes, corner bath with shower over and bidet.
