Carinthia: House with large garden in Gurktal

The house is on the outskirts of Gurk (in the Gurktal Nature Park). By car you drive about half an hour to Klagenfurt. It is surrounded by a large garden, located on a barely busy residential street and is the ideal starting point for excursions throughout Carinthia. The house dates back to the 1950s. It was renovated, but it was important for us to maintain the vintage character. In the village, there is an inn, two supermarkets, a bakery, a swimming pool and tennis courts. The space The house and many parts of the interior come from the 1950s and have old-fashioned charm. (Wooden floorboard in the living room and bedrooms, boxes and beds made of solid wood). The house was completely renovated in 2010 and 2023 (new thermal insulation, new paint, new bathroom on the 1st floor, new heating) and is about 150m2. It is ideal for 2 to 5 people. On the ground floor there is a large anteroom, a kitchen plus pantry, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom with toilet. On the first floor are another three bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet. The house is located in the middle of a large garden (about 1,000 m2), where there is also a garden house with an additional lounge. There are also garden furniture and barbecue. Guest access All rooms of the house and the garden house are available for guests. Other things to note The house is located on a road only used by the residents. Apart from the occasional lawn mowing on the neighboring properties in summer, it is VERY QUIET.
