With its sweeping vistas over the bay, panoramic views of the islands and mountains, and attention to luxury throughout, you’ll be able to indulge your senses all year round. You’ll find elegant hints of Scottish tweed, luxurious hotel-style linens and handcrafted furnishings from artisan designers and craft-makers. Indulge yourself with cosy dressings gowns and a long soak in the hand-made copper bath which looks out to the sea, or curl up with a book in front of the wood-burning stove. Winter, summer, spring or autumn, you’ll find The Shorehouse a magical place to be. For wildlife lovers, settle back and watch the resident and migratory birds at home in the bay, (one of the best places for bird-watching on the island), or look out for an otter or deer passing by. There is a master bedroom with king size bed, an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and a bunk room with adult size bunk beds and a separate shower room. The kitchen is fully-equipped for cosy nights in and the living area is complete with wood burning stove, music system and smart TV. There is also a utility room with washer and dryer. Outdoors there is private parking for two cars, outdoor dining furniture and a covered decking area perfect for star gazing. The Shorehouse is located in Broadford, Skye’s second largest settlement, and is in walking distance of shops and restaurants and within a short drive of many more. The character of our single track roads means it can take a while to tour the island, so when you want a change from driving, it’s an ideal place to be. Guest access Guests are welcome to arrive from 4pm. Access is via key code and we will provide this to you before you arrive. Other things to note The property is on one level and has access via a ramp from the deck into the living area. It is not fully accessible but suitable for people with limited mobilty. Not suitable for very young children or babies. Many guests who do not wish to venture further afield happily spend their time watching the phenomenal view and gazing at the wildlife.
