The Wales Retreat - Escape day to day life and unwind in the Wales Retreat, this luxury lodge offers spectacular views of the Welsh Border. These views are especially dazzling at sunset or sunrise. This Wooden Luxury lodge, which is located on the West Quantoxhead coast line, has been recently refurbished to have a fresh new design. Although it has a new modern touch it still offers that cozy feeling of hot chocolate around the log burner. The lodge is set on a quiet site with lots of walks The space The Lodge is located on the cliff edge over looking the welsh border on a quiet relaxing site . There is a beautiful BBQ area in which you can spend evenings watching the sunset and spending quality time with your family or unwind peacefully. The retreat is located on St Audries Home Farm Holiday Centre, more information on the site can be found at their website. There are 2 main bedrooms. For the additional 2 guests there is sofa bed in the lounge. There is a Fenced garden and a gated decking area which is safe for animals and children . Guest access There is access to a clubhouse bar onsite ( please check with main office clubhouse opening hoursin low season)this features special events such as karaoke and live music and bingo in med to high season .There is a beer garden with a childrens play area and out side ping pong tables and a food hut. ( please check food hut opening hours with main office in low season)The park also features: beach and woodland walks, field walks, a swimming pool,and local locations such as Watchet and Minehead. Swimming pool will need to be pre-booked in advance when you arrive on site . ( the swimming pool is free of charge ) ( maintenance work in low season may affect the pool opening time please contact the park office) There is free hard wired club WiFi throughout the lodge and site . The club house and snack shack have different opening hours LOW SEASON Please contact main site office for opening hours . Lots of dog walks on site with a dog friendly pub and beach .🐶 (beach would recommend walking shoes) Visitors rave about the unique beauty of St Audries Bay Waterfall, particularly its dramatic appearance at low tide. The opportunity for fossil hunting and the stunning coastal views are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the steep access is noted, most find the experience well worth the effort for this picturesque Somerset gem.
