The Byre at Grange Farm is a cosy characterful rural hideaway retreat for a couple or family up to 4 people. It is a totally private annex next to our main farmhouse in the picturesque village of Bampton Grange in the Lake District. The accommodation is all open plan with TV(freeview), woodburner & comfy sofas opening up to a breakfast bar, newly appointed kitchen & shower room. On request we can offer an evening meal / breakfast basket filled with homemade and locally sourced goodies! The space The Byre is full of character with its original beams, woodburner for cosy winter evenings and a private terrace to enjoy a glass of wine! The Byre has a cosy brass double bed & pop up double sofa bed both with crisp Egyptian cotton bedding. The accommodation is all open plan with TV(freeview), woodburner & comfy sofas opening up to a breakfast bar, newly appointed kitchen & shower room. We have a large walled vegetable garden and friendly hens and can offer you a farm to fork experience collecting produce daily! We are the ideal place to enjoy the northern Lake District fells with Haweswater and Ullswater around the corner! We love dogs and charge £7.50 per night for dogs and we can provide a welcome breakfast basket including our farm eggs/local bacon/ homemade sourdough/ juice/ granola pots for £8 per adult/ £5 per child or a fully prepared cosy supper (poa) to make your first nights meal easy! Just get in touch. Guest access We have private off street parking on our cobbled farm yard outside the Byre and are only meters from the heart of the village and surrounding fells. We also have private river access. Other things to note Access to the property is from 4pm with departure time 10am however should you require an early arrival do get in touch.
