The Annexe is self catered accommodation offering self serve bed & breakfast ideal for an overnight stay or weekend or short break. A duplex apartment on the west wing part of the main property. The 2 first floor double bedrooms have stunning south facing views towards Ben vane and Loch Lubnaig overlooking the 9 acre grounds of Ardoch Lodge. The space There are 2 double beds, shower room and separate toilet and kitchen dining area on the ground floor which is stocked with breakfast groceries perfect for an overnight or maximum 3 night stay. The Annexe is furnished and equipped to the highest standards, with electric and underfloor heating making it cosy and comfortable at any time of the year. The Annexe is pet free. Ardoch Lodge is an idyllic retreat of 12 acres surrounded by spectacular scenery of the Trossachs National Park. A self catered B&B perfect for hikers who want to explore outdoors or stop over enroute further north, use our central location as a base to visit this beautiful part of Scotland. Regardless, you will enjoy a wonderful holiday The south facing views are spectacular with the nearby hills, swathed in forest, seen against a background of the more distant, rugged peaks of Ben Vane. We need to make guest aware before booking , the Annexe is part of the main house and noise carries you will hear us and we will hear you. There is a kitchen dining room but no living sitting area so suits those who are out and about most of the day . It is also not ideal for small children as there are stairs with no stair gate. At Ardoch Lodge we have 2 log cabins and a cottage for rent as well on the Site please see our other listings if your looking for longer stays. We have a no shoes policy upstairs. We also offer EV charging on site. Guest access Within the grounds guests can wander the paths through the water meadow, along the river and into the walled garden. For walkers there are loch side paths, forest tracks and munros. For the cyclists there are many trails including Sustrans route 7 . Other things to note Protecting our environment here at Ardoch Lodge and enhancing it for the wildlife who visit us is particularly important to us. That it is such a haven for trees, plants & wildlife makes it a special place to be. We are delighted to be recognised as a green tourist organisation and have recently achieved silver standard under the Green Tourism Business Scheme. This organisation was established in1997 and its certification scheme recognises responsible site management, encouraging good environmental practice and aims to reduce the environmental impact of all business. Over the years we have planted many trees and plants to provide habitat for birds,butterflies, bees and other wildlife and for example piles of tree thinings are left to provide further habitat. Our list of resident and visiting birds has grown considerably, red squirrels are regular visitors to the bird tables, red & roe deer often go through the grounds and occasionally we see pine martens. We are also committed to doing our bit for the wider environment and guests will find recycling facilities, low energy bulbs etc.. Information on locally produced food is available. As well as plenty of walks from the door we are adjacent to a cycle path, so why not hire bikes for the day. Registration Details ST00216F
