The space Turford House is Grade II listed Georgian House named after Edward and his son James Turford, both glove makers who rebuilt and lived in the House in the late 1600's after the Civil War. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and is located in the heart of Lower Corve Street only a walk from the main shops, castle and church (lower Corve Street is famous for its 1600/1700's glove making) The house is set on 3 levels with ground, first and second floors. Oak floors and beams have been uncovered and professionally restored by master craftsmen. All internal ledged and brace doors are hand made from solid oak. The House boasts many original Georgian period features and furniture. There is a single drive in off road car park space next to the house plus on street parking for 2 cars by permit provided by your host at no cost (1 on street permit is guaranteed the second permit is subject to available parking hours allocated by Shropshire Council). Guest access Guests can access the entire house except roof loft areas and cupboards that are locked for storage.
