Guest access Whole property, utility space for drying wet clothes, washing and boots. Private garden overlooking woods and lakes. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, collect fresh eggs, use the fishing lakes at reduced cost, picnic in the meadows or by the lake, safe lock up and washing facilities for bikes, bring your own horse, holiday with your dog, watch lambing around Easter and the combines during harvest ........ Other things to note The lane to the farm is 1.5 miles long, part of it is unsurfaced and whilst we try to keep on top of potholes there are times when there are more than we would like due to other users such as neighbouring farmer's tractors during harvest and electric works. You certainly don't need a 4x4 but part of the lane can be rough and bumpy, and muddy in the winter. It takes a full five minutes to drive down the lane, the views as you drop downhill to the farm are breathtaking and you will be in a magical oasis but if you want to be in and out quickly then we may not be for you. We are off the beaten track, if you’re just looking for cost effective accommodation for attending a wedding etc please bear this in mind, please don’t choose to stay here and then mark us down for location! Mobile signal is patchy, Vodafone has the best coverage here. We are with Starlink internet provision which is pretty good. We are happy for your dog (max two) to join you on holiday but please note that the garden isn't secure and there are often sheep and lambs in the field over a low wall from the cottage, and happy chickens wandering free range. There is an additional £15 charge per dog per stay. We can accommodate horses for £6 per horse per night. There is a grass paddock, locked parking for horse boxes, tie up facilities in a large barn, mounting block, meadow hay and maps available. We are on a cross roads of bridleways and rides from the farm can take you to fabulous local pubs, cafes and bakeries in pretty villages. Families with small children please note that the garden isn't secure, there are steps up to the rear patio door and a low wall round the garden with a steep drop on the field side. A starter pack of kindling and wood is provided for the open fire, further supplies of logs available to purchase.
