The property is a Listed Georgian (1825) terraced house and has recently been renovated by Erickson Mann A five minutes walk from the renowned Chichester Festival Theatre and the same from the City of Chichester with it's Cathedral, restaurants and shops . There is also easy access by car bus or bike to the Downs including Goodwood as well as the coast at West Wittering and Bracklesham Bay . You can lie ,sit or eat in the sun the house has a south facing garden which is a sun trap . The space The front door opens onto a dining room with an antique table and chairs, and a piano. There are two arches from this room through to a lounge which gives access to the "sun trap" patio garden which is dense with flowers and is kitted out with a table and chairs.The lounge has a television with a Smart TV . In the cellar is a lovely kitchen and dining/breakfast room . Please note that it is an old house with three set of stairs which are quite steep . There are sturdy handrails . I am 80 and have no problem with the stairs. Guests with young children beware . On the first floor overlooking Washington Street is a double bedroom with a very comfortable brass double bedstead . This room has a cupboard for hanging clothes . Across the landing is a lovely bathroom with both shower and double bath ( which has views to the cathedral ) , a basin and toilet . Next door is a separate toilet with hand basin . Up a further set of stairs through a door is the attic with a second bedroom . There are two single beds and views from the window over the garden and Cathedral . Children love sleeping in this space . There is a heater. Please note the house has wooden floors with carpet in the lounge and attic bedroom . Guest access Guests have access to the whole house ; some of our possessions remain in the house as we still use it regularly . Access is via keys in a key safe which is accessed by a code . There is a private South facing paved garden with table and chairs. In the garden room at the bottom of the garden are cushions for the chairs and loungers which feel free to use . Other things to note On street parking is available in Washington Street , Cavendish Street and St Pauls Road at all times except for one hour in the morning (10:00-11:00) and one hour in the afternoon (14:00-15:00) Monday/Saturday . Your best bet when you arrive is to park on the yellow lines just past the house to unload your cases . During the hours parking is prohibited it is allowed to park if you have a permit . If you let me have your car reg , make and colour I will put it on the E permit . This will be free to you . At night if it impossible to park in Washington Street or neighbouring streets there is always the theatre car park which is free of charge after 20:00
