Light airy room in beautiful victorian house. Central London, quiet rd, close to tube & bus. Friendly & helpful, wi fi,, work table, garden, piano, radio, tv. Film/theatre, parks, gym, shops, restaurants, Oxford Street all close by. 2 rooms :The single room (Green ) or a double (Top). Single person travelling with a child can be accommodated with a futon on the floor. Long stays welcomed. Check ins after midday. 30 dys min booking preferred but negotiable The space This is a beautiful, victorian style, ambient house in zone 2 central london close to Oxford Street shopping, Hyde Park, Hampstead Heath, and everything London has to offer. The house is friendly and there are 2 front rooms. The main kitchen area is the hub of the house or you can disappear to another front room to watch t.v or just be in your own room with your laptop with full wifi (fibre) access. Lots of info and maps to help you round town if you are a first timer in London. There is a garden, piano and a guitar. The local shops are open till late at night.There are restaurants and the renowned Tricycle theatre 3 minutes walk from the house. The street is wonderfully quiet even though you are in the heart of London. Tube and buses connect anywhere you want to go. This is a cycling house if you want help with how to get round on 2 wheels ...even a bike to lend or lime electric bikes to hire on our street. Guest access There is a downstairs shower and toilet. If you are staying a while there is a washing machine and drying rack and line. TV is downstairs. Guests fridge and share of kitchen if you want a night in . You can access both front room areas , the kitchen and the lovely garden . It is important to read the house manual before or when you arrive . During your stay Interaction is evening and mornings or more depending on how much freelance work is booked in. The host is able to speak in french and also knows a little spanish. This is a no smoking house but you can smoke in the garden if you wish to do so. The cat (Sleepy) in the piano photo is no longer with us as he passed away last year so if you are allergic its now safe to come to our house!! ... it is wooden floors and rugs throughout ie not fitted carpets. There is a no screen rule in the kitchen ..unless everyone else is out. If you want to eat and screen gaze or work at the same time as eating use your bedroom or adjourn to the other front room area.
